On April 27th the Lococo family experienced a horrible tragedy when lightning struck their family home in Oldham County and sent it up in flames.

Thankfully, Melissa, David, Sofia, Vincent and their dogs were able to make it out unharmed, however, the fire quickly consumed the house. It took 46 firefighters hours to control the viscous flames due to strong winds, severe thunderstorms, and tornado warnings in the area. During that time the roof collapsed onto the second floor and a large portion of the back of the house was entirely consumed. Unfortunately, the Lococo family is looking at a total loss for the house and the majority of their clothes, toys, household items and special keepsakes are gone.

In the immediate days ahead, financial support will be the most helpful way to ensure the Lococo family can quickly access essentials like clothing, temporary housing, and other immediate needs. These monetary contributions will give the family the flexibility to purchase exactly what they need during this difficult time.
